Evergreen Maritime has been awarded the contract to offer six super rubber foam fenders to world biggest single hanging crane ship” Blue Whale”. The 6 pieces diameter 3300 mm x length 6000 mm fenders are required to accommodate diverse range of berth conditions of “Blue Whale” around the world.

“Blue Whale” vessel, belongs to CNOOC ltd.(NYSE:CEO)(CEO.NYSE;0883.HK), is the 7500 TONS huge revolving derrick ship, with 241 meters of length, 50 meters of width, 20.4 meters in depth and 64,110 tons of total weight. Constructed by ZPMC, its maximum lifting capacity reaches 7500 tons which is equivalent to the weight of the steel tower Eiffel Tower in France.

“Blue whales” is engaged in marine salvage and heavy lifting operations. Due to varying work conditions, the ship needs super floating foam fenders to ensure the all weather operation safety, strong and low maintenance cost.
